Cody Johnson leads Country Nominees at the American Music Awards
Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs are also nominated
The nominations are in for this year’s American Music Awards and Cody Johnson has the most nods with three nominations in the Country Music genre.
Along with Favourite Country Artist, Johnson is up for Favourite Country Album and Favourite Country Song with "'Til You Can't", a song we've been playing on Absolute Radio Country.
Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and Chris Stapleton are each nominated for two awards.
Taylor Swift’s album ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ is nominated for Favourite Country Album alongside Carrie Underwood - ‘Denim & Rhinestones’, Luke Combs – ‘Growin’ Up’, Cody Johnson - ‘Human: The Double Album’ and Walker Hayes – ‘Country Stuff: The Album’. Taylor is also nominated for Artist of The Year.
Voting for the fan-voted awards is now open at VoteAMAs.com and this year’s AMAs will take place in Los Angeles on 20 November 2022.
