Blossoms are one of Stockport's biggest exports - the indie-rockers have been blowing up the charts with their music, and their third album 'Foolish Loving Spaces' was released Friday 31st January 2020.

With old favourites like 'Charlemagne' and newer tracks like 'The Keeper', fans of the five-piece are keen to know when they can get in front of them for real and hear their songs at a gig... And whilst some fans were lucky enough to see them during the first half of their 'Foolish Loving Spaces' tour in March 2020, others will sadly have to wait, as the second half of the tour was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Thankfully, Blossoms played a 360° interactive virtual gig at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, which fans could 'attend' on 3rd December 2020 - but many are still keen to see them in person.

Having previously supported the likes of Sam Fender and performed at many music festivals - as well as a rather random slot on Pointless once - Blossoms are now old hands at performing live. Read on to find out everything you need to know about the 'Foolish Loving Spaces' tour.

When are Blossoms going on tour?

The band started off their gig circuit in March 2020, but were forced to reschedule the dates for a third time. The new dates were as follows:

31st – O2 Academy, Glasgow

SEPTEMBER 2021

3rd – Victoria Hall, Stoke-On-Trent

14th – O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

15th – O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

17 – O2 Academy, Leicester

18 – AO Arena, Manchester

Blossoms had already rescheduled their tour to March and April 2021 - but that couldn't happen either.

In a statement on 7th July 2020, Blossoms said, 'Hiya. Really sorry to have to do this again but due to the current COVID-19 situation around the world we’re having to reschedule our remaining UK tour dates.

'These shows will now take place in March/April 2021. All of your tickets remain valid for the new dates so please keep hold of them and we look forward to playing for you all next year.'

Blossoms played two intimate homecoming gigs in Stockport to celebrate the new album, performing at the 1,300 capacity Stockport Plaza on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th February 2020.

Blossoms supporting The Killers

Their own tour won't be the only one they go on over the next couple of years if we're lucky - they're also due to support The Killers on their 'Imploding The Mirage' tour, which has been rescheduled to May/June 2022.

Blossoms: Their previous headline tours

The band embarked on their first ever headline tour in 2014, promoting the 'Bloom EP' from March to August - but as the band members were all still in full-time employment at that time, they could only perform at the weekends. Now that's commitment!

Later that year, Blossoms quit their jobs in order to properly immerse themselves in the music industry. They did another full UK tour in the autumn, and then another between January and March 2015.

A third headline tour followed in 2016, but was struck by tragedy when their support act Viola Beach died in a car crash in Sweden. The band chose to play a recorded set of their support performance from Royal Leamington Spa for the remaining dates.

The band went on tour for the fourth time after the release of their self-titled debut album in 2016, with another to support their second album 'Cool Like You' in 2018. The band went on a second tour in 2018, their sixth in total, with all dates selling out after a few minutes of going on sale. The upcoming 'Foolish Loving Spaces' will be their seventh tour.

When did Blossoms play Isle of Wight Festival?

Blossoms have played Isle of Wight twice - performing in 2016 and 2018. We caught up with the band at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2016, playing a good old-fashioned game of Pub or No Pub? Enjoy.

We also caught up with them in 2018 - feast your eyes on a game of table football by Blossoms at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2018.

Have Blossoms played Glastonbury?

They sure have. Blossoms played The Other Stage in 2016, and played the main Pyramid Stage just a year later in 2017.

Which other festivals have Blossoms played?

In 2014, Blossoms performed their first ever festival set, playing at Tramlines in Sheffield, and a year later in 2015 played at the Official SXSW Showcase in Austin, Texas. The same year, Blossoms played The Great Escape in Brighton, Y Not in Derbyshire and Reading and Leeds Festivals. Their first headline slot was at Festival No. 6 in North Wales in September 2015.

In 2016, they played Festival No.6, Reading Festival, Boardmasters in Newquay, Y Not, and Kendall Calling. They returned to Reading and Leeds in 2017, also playing at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Benicàssim in Spain, TRNSMT in Glasgow and Coachella in California.

Blossoms were back at Tramlines, TRNSMT and the Isle of Wight Festival in 2018, and the next year returned to Reading and Leeds, Benicàssim, and also played Community Festival in Finsbury Park, London and Parklife in Manchester.

Just a quick disclaimer: this isn't a comprehensive list of every single festival Blossoms have ever played... But it's enough to give you an idea.
