CCTV images released in 'unprovoked attack' investigation

Officers believe the man pictured is can help in an assault investigation

Officers have released pictures of a man that they believe may be able to help in an investigation into an assault in Glasgow in April.

A man was assaulted in an 'unprovoked attack' around 1440 hours on Friday 19th April 2019, on Balmoral Street at the junction of Earl Street, Glasgow.

The man in the pictures is described as; a white male, roughly 16 -20 years of age, approximately 5’8 tall, slim build, fair hair, with tattoos on both arms.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing white trainers, bright orange trousers, a yellow t-shirt and a yellow skip hat.

Police Constable Kirstin Walker from Drumchapel Police Office said:

“A man has been left in a state of shock and distress having been assaulted during an unprovoked attack. I’m appealing for the identification of this man as he may be able to assist with the ongoing investigation”.
