Police searching for man and woman after Clydebank assault

The pair made off in the Jean Armour Drive direction after the incident

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward

A woman is recovering after being assaulted in Clydebank on Friday afternoon.

The 41 year old was walking next to the grassy area near Kirkoswald Drive and Robert Burns Avenue when she was assaulted by a man and woman.

She was treated in hospital after the incident, which happened at around 4.15pm on April 26.

The man is described as white, in his early 20s, of medium build with light brown hair, and was wearing light coloured clothing.

The woman is also white, in her early forties, of medium build with light brown hair, and was wearing blue jeans.

Police say they made off in the Jean Armour Drive direction after the assault.

Detective Sergeant Stuart Lindsay said: “Our investigation to trace those responsible is ongoing and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who may have seen what happened to get in touch.

“In addition, if you have private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help our enquiries then please come forward.”
