The Bayeux-style tapestry, created in partnership with HBO, is hanging in the Ulster Museum and it brings to life the trials and tribulations of the show’s characters in its most epic and famous scenes.

A time-lapse video, showing the making of the tapestry, has been released and Tourism Ireland will continue to use social media to showcase the progress.

The new section includes scenes from the season seven premiere ‘Dragonstone,’ including Arya with the Lannister soldiers, Euron Greyjoy’s fleet sailing into King’s Landing, Daenerys and Tyrion contemplating the invasion of Westeros over the Painted Table, as well as Dany’s allies sailing to Dragonstone.

In the build up to the new episodes of season seven, new sections of the tapestry will be revealed weekly, capturing key events from the previous week’s episode.

The campaign is now under way across the world in 12 different markets, including Great Britain and the United States.
