After what seems like FOREVER, Westlife are finally dropping their new single THIS Thursday, and you'll be able to hear it on Downtown Radio after 8.30am! That's right, on the 10th January, you could be one of the first to hear 'Hello My Love', which is reportedly written by Ed Sheeran.

The popular Irish band tweeted a nine-second clip of their new single last night (7th January) revealing the single's name and its release date, this Thursday.

Despite only hearing a few seconds of the new song, fans have been quick to congratulate the band on 'Hello My Love' tweeting, 'WELCOME BACK LADS!!🥂🍻🙌🙌😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤❤', 'ARGHHH...!!! I can't wait hurry up I want to hear it lol 😂' and 'My heart is racing & I have goosebumps ✨❤️✨'.

Last year it was rumoured by many publications that Westlife have pulled out all the stops for their new single, and managed to get Ed Sheeran on board to pen their new track, giving it a contemporary edge for their reunion. At present, this has yet to be confirmed or denied by Westlife or Ed.

This new single comes just a few months after Westlife announced a tour to celebrate 20 years as a group. The band will take 'The Twenty Tour' to venues across the UK including Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool and more!

Westlife started out in 1998 with a string on Number 1 songs in 1999 including, 'Swear It Again', 'If I Let You Go' and 'Flying Without Wings', to name just a few.

Their huge success continued into the 2000s, however Brian McFadden left the band in 2004. Following Brian's departure, the group went on to release six more albums adding to the massive success they had as a five-piece.
