Cash for Kids are supporting the Music Theatre 4 Youth's bursary scheme
The Music Theatre 4 Youth is a charity based in Belfast. They provide young people from all backgrounds access to musical theatre training.
In December 2012, Cash for Kids teamed up with Music Theatre 4 Youth to hold a 'Carols in the City' concert whiched raised funds to support their bursary scheme. This scheme provides disadvantaged young people with the opportunity to receive a bursary to persue their dreams of working within theatre and the performing arts. They get the chance to take part in a Weekend Academy and Level 2 & 3 projects to reach their full potential. Many young people involved in their projects are keen to pursue a career in performing arts. Financial barriers such as unemployment and isolation in rural areas prevent young people from accessing the training they need.
