Pop princess Ariana Grande shocked her fan base over the weekend when she shared a photo of herself rocking grey hair. Yes, not blonde, brown or red, GREY!

The 'One Last Time' singer uploaded a snap to her Instagram account and her usual dark locks are now a very much lighter style of grey, and she totally pulls it off.

Using Snapchat's love heart filter, Ariana shared the photo of her new look to her 114 million followers and wrote, 'btw i (it's grey)'.

Fans loved the singer's new look, with one writing, 'Omggg Ariana you hair is so beautiful 😍😍😍😍💖💖💖💖 I love youu❤️❤️', another added, 'Gorgeous 😍😍😍😍😍',

A third then wrote, 'You look so pretty ari. Love your hair @arianagrande', with a user called ariana_grandedrawing adding, 'Queen of looking good in every hair colour'.

A lot different from her trademark long dark ponytail...

Of course Ariana isn't the first celebrity to dye her lucious locks a shade of grey. The colour has become extremely popular in the world of celebrity over the last year or so.

The likes of Lady Gaga, P!nk, Rita Ora, Kelly Osbourne, Hilary Duff, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian have all gone for the same look.

Kim first debuted her brand new look at New York Fashion Week back in September. The mum-of-two looked amazing as she wore a skintight strapless black latex dress.
