In the video, the pop star can be seen wearing her trademark cat ears and black stilettos as she is filmed pushing a supermarket trolley, around before putting some items in the trolley.
However, whilst a pop star shopping is unusual, it's the reaction of the shop worker who filmed her which has got everyone talking. She can be heard saying "Ariana Grande is at my store shopping, this is crazy! I'm dying! I'm dying! I can't breathe".
The video then cuts to another shot of the pop star posing for photos near the tills, as the shopkeeper can be heard saying the name to Ariana's new single, "God is a woman, god IS a woman!" Watch the moment below...
The debate started when Pete commented on one of Ariana Grande's photos saying, 'omg what a cutie'. sic The photo in question was of Ariana's late grandfather and she had captioned the photo, 'miss n love u forever my best friend #4years'. sic. After Pete's reply a number of fans thought he was being insensitive and left comments such as 'wrong timing' and 'stop sticking your nose in everything'. Pete later responded to some of the comments saying that he was talking about 'how cute her grandpa is'. sic
It was after this debate that Ariana decided to remove comments from her posts and soon after deleted her whole account.
Ariana has now returned to the social media site by posting a black and white photo of herself rotated on its side with the caption, '🛸 pretty little body it look betta on you' sic, referring to words from her collaboration with Nicki Minaj, 'Bed'.
