MAFS Australia: Are Ellie and Jono still together?
The pair unveiled their relationship at the reunion show

This year's Married At First Sight Australia was certainly a dramatic one, with the cast getting back together for a reunion dinner party, which aired here in the UK on Monday 29th April.
Whilst there were a few shocks during the episode, such as discovering both Jack and Tori, and Tim and Sara were still together, it was cast members Jono and Ellie who really left viewers at home with open mouths.
How did Jono and Ellie announce their relationship?
Waiting until last to make their grand entrance at the reunion dinner party, Jono and Ellie arrived hand-in-hand, leaving Jono's ex-wife Lauren in complete shock, along with the rest of the cast.
Did Ellie and Jono have an affair on the show?
As fans of the show will know, towards the end of the experiment Jono was caught out texting Ellie, but the 39-year-old was adamant nothing was going on, repeatedly saying that Ellie was 'not his type'.
Despite making it to the final vow ceremony with Lauren, she chose to dump him with an iconic speech during the ceremony after learning of the texts, much to the delight of fans.
After Jono and Ellie both chose to ignore Lauren at the start of the reunion dinner party, proceeding to kiss in front of her and parade their relationship, viewers took to social media to slam the pair for their behaviour, with many calling them disrespectful, especially after Ellie called Lauren a 'f---ing b---h'.
One wrote: 'Jono and Ellie have just displayed one of the worst examples of insensitivity I’ve ever seen. Be together. Fine. But show some class and respect. Shame on them both, but Ellie more so, woman to woman. #MAFS #MAFSAU'. (sic)
Another added: 'Seriously though, the fact that Jono slept with Lauren during home stays while texting Ellie and is sticking to his story (which we all know now is bulls--t) that he doesn’t have feelings for her makes my skin crawl. #MAFSAU #MAFS #MAFSAustralia'. (sic)
A third angry viewer then added: 'Never expected Jono and Ellie would be the villains of this series. Vile behaviour they’re displaying tonight, thinking they’re better and above everybody else #MAFS #MAFSAU'. (sic)
Another gasped: 'Catching up on mafs reunion. Jono and Ellie are absolutely vile. The deflection, gaslighting, and mocking of others is disgusting and uncomfortable to watch. The fact they are so tone deaf and openly laughing at others. Dear God. They're a match made in hell'. (sic)
Are Ellie and Jono still together?
Despite their insensitive behaviour at the reunion show, it seems Ellie and Jono are still together now, with the pair constantly posting loved-up snaps together on social media, and spending a lot of time together.
However, Jono is still sticking to the story that he didn't have any romantic feelings towards Ellie until after he'd left the experiment with Lauren.
Speaking to the group, Jono explained: “About a week after Final Vows I made the decision to reach out to Ellie.
“I wanted to call her and let her know what had happened... I gave her a call and said s**t's gone down. Then we talked for like an hour and a half... The last three weeks Ellie and I have been seeing each other have been amazing.”
Do Ellie and Jono live together?
Although Ellie and Jono haven't confirmed things themselves, a source close to the pair did reveal on the So Dramatic! podcast that they've been 'living together for months'.
A source told the publication: “Jono moved to the Gold Coast in November. He lives next door to me, and Ellie has been in the picture ever since he moved here. She’s here basically every night.”

Jade and Ridge - TOGETHER
On first impression, it had looked like late comers Jade and Ridge were the complete opposite, with many thinking 27-year-old Ridge could be too 'immature' for mum-of-one Jade. However, as the experiment went on, Ridge proved to both Jade and the viewers at home that he was ready for a long-term relationship, with Jade even introducing him to her young daughter.
With just a few minor hiccups throughout, Jade and Ridge made it to the final vows, much to the delight of viewers.
Are Jade and Ridge still together?
They are! As well as looking loved-up at the reunion show, Jade and Ridge have been very active on each other's social media accounts, proving they are very much still enjoying spending time together outside of the experiment.
The pair have recently been hit with 'cheating claims' after two of Ridge's ex-girlfriends claimed he'd slept with them after the show, whilst he was in a relationship with Jade. Ridge has strongly denied the claims, saying in an online statement: 'I've never cheated on Jade. We've had our ups and downs like in any relationship, but I'd never disrespect the future mother of my kids like that.
'Maybe you guys should check your facts before believing every bit of rubbish that's posted on the internet.'
Eden and Jayden - SPLIT
Throughout the experiment, 28-year-old Eden and 26-year-old Jayden were undoubtedly one of the strongest couples, sailing through the first few weeks with no drama. However, during the final few weeks, cracks started to appear for the pair, especially when they had conflicting feelings about the information Eden had received regarding co-star Sara meeting up with her ex.
Despite this, the couple did make it to the final vows and they looked very cosy together at the reunion, and on social media.
Are Eden and Jayden still together?
In a complete shock to fans, just days after posting photos together on social media, Eden and Jayden released statements to announce they'd decided to split.
Sharing a number of photos alongside Jayden, Eden told fans: 'When I made the decision at final vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with longterm intentions. Jayden & I spent many months together after the experiment, during which Cub gained a dad and I gained a second family who I'm truly grateful for.
'I'm saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end. The 'reality' is, the person I chose didn't choose me. Whilst I'm disappointed, I will never regret the experiment, the people I met, the lessons I learnt and the growth this process has had on me.
'Thank you for supporting us and for also wishing for the same fairytale that I had hoped for'. (sic)
Tori and Jack - TOGETHER
It's fair to say 27-year-old Tori and 34-year-old Jack were the most controversial couple from the 2024 series, mainly thanks to Jack's behaviour and shocking comments such as "muzzle your woman." Despite both the experts and their fellow co-stars calling out Jack's behaviour, the couple defied the odds and seemed strong by the end, even getting intimate during Home Stays week.
Tori and Jack made it all the way to the final vows, with the pair going on to storm out of the reunion show, before Tori posted some telling comments that she no longer speaks to any of her co-stars.
Are Tori and Jack still together?
In what is pretty much a massive shock to every MAFS fan, Tori and Jack ARE still dating, and they've moved in together! In a recent interview, Jack even confessed he could propose to Tori within one year!
Sara and Tim - SPLIT
29-year-old Sara and 31-year-old Tim didn't have the easiest of journeys during the 2024 experiment. Despite Tim's attempts, Sara cancelled on three dates he'd planned, and it was later revealed she'd been messaging and also met up with her ex-boyfriend behind Tim's back during filming.
Despite this, Sara admitted her wrongdoing and apologised to Tim, something which he accepted, leading the pair to the final vow ceremony.
Are Sara and Tim still together?
Although the pair were still together during the reunion show, not long later Sara announced the pair had split, with her telling Daily Mail Australia: "Tim and I are on friendly terms. We hadn't really spoken post like the actual break-up, but we're actually very friendly now."
According to rumours, Tim is now dating somebody called Barbara who he knew before the show, but this hasn't been confirmed.
Ellie and Jono - TOGETHER
32-year-old Ellie was originally paired with 39-year-old Ben by the experts, it didn't take long for their relationship to crumble, with the couple deciding to leave during the fourth commitment ceremony.
Although 39-year-old Jono made it all the way to final vows 32-year-old wife Lauren, the pair split during the ceremony when Lauren ended things, after discovering from the group that Jono had been in contact with Ellie.
Lauren and Ellie went on to get into a rather fiery argument during the reunion show.
Are Ellie and Jono still together?
Despite the drama surrounding the start of their relationship, Ellie and Jono are now officially together, with things going very well for the pair. Jono's ex-wife Lauren has even given her blessing to the couple, admitting she wishes them the best. However, Jono has since accused Lauren of having another partner during the experiment, which was cut out in the editing room.
