Anna Faris breaks silence for the first time since announcing Chris Pratt split
She spoke on her podcast
It’s been just over week since showbiz fans of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris were shocked to find the lovable pair had split up.
Speaking on her podcast, Unqualified, she said, "Hey, dear listeners, I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you.”
Anna had posted on her Instagram about the split saying 'We are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together'.
The pair met 10 years ago on the set of Take Me Home Tonight, a film set in the 80s where Chris' character plays Anna's on-screen boyfriend. The romance continued off set and the pair married two years later.
Chris Pratt is known for playing Peter Quill in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.1 and Vol.2 as well as starring in Jurassic World and The Magnificent Seven.
Anna Faris rose to fame in the 2000 film Scary Movie and its sequels starring as Cindy Campbell, she has also starred in the US comedy Friends and most recently The Emoji Movie, which is out now.
Chris Pratt made his first public appearance since the split at the weekend, accepting his Teen Choice Award for actor in a Sci Fi movie for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2. He made no mention of his split but did thank Jesus Christ saying, "I would not be here with the ease and grace I have in my heart without my lord and saviour, Jesus Christ.”
