Ellie Goulding reveals her plans for Christmas and her New Year's resolutions

As Christmas approaches, we're desperate to know what some of our favourite artists will be up to on the 25th December. Ellie Goulding recently opened up to Sarah-Jane Crawford where she revealed what she would be doing over the festive period - and it's all for a good cause.
Ellie, who recently became engaged, revealed that on the 20th December she will be taking part in a show to raise money for Streets of London, a charity that raises awareness about homelessness, in a line-up including Years & Years, Clean Bandit and Dua Lipa.
The pop star went on to explain that there are "320,000 people homeless in the country" and "every little helps".
The 'Close To Me' singer then revealed she will be doing more charity work in the run up to Christmas, volunteering at a women's shelter on the 23rd and 24th, where she usually enjoys a bit of karaoke, before relaxing with her family on Christmas Day itself.
The conversation then turned to the inevitable New Year's resolutions, and it seems like Ellie is just like the rest of us, admitting that she usually doesn't make one because if she did, she'd break it within a week!
During the interview, Ellie also opened up about how her wedding plans are going. Speaking to Sarah-Jane, she said she has already started her wedding planning, but she's focussing more on the release of her upcoming new album.

Ellie Goulding has been in and out of the charts for almost a decade, following the success of her debut album, ‘Lights’. Having taken a year out of the spotlight, she’s now back with a brand new album on the way - recently releasing her newest single, ‘Close To Me’, on which she collaborated with Diplo and Swae Lee.
