Wow, that's a lot of moolah!
This year Forbes released the top 20 highest-paid actors and they earned a lot more compared to the actresses.
One fifth of the list were newcomers, including Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo who were placed between 14 and 20, meanwhile three of the top 10 were Bollywood stars.
2017 has been a mega year for Chris Hemsworth who is the biggest percent gainer on the list with his earnings up 250%, mainly due to the Marvel films.
Marvel films have also added to many actors' salaries included in the list such as Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Ryan Reynolds and Vin Diesel.

20) Mark Ruffalo - $13,000,000
Mark Ruffalo has played the role of Bruce Banner / Hulk in many Marvel films, recently starring in Thor: Ragnarok and the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War.
19) Chris Pratt - $17,000,000
Chris Pratt has played the role of Peter Quill / Star-Lord in many Marvel films, recently starring in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War.
He is also known for playing Owen Grady in Jurassic World, he will be starring in the sequel to this film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which is due for release next year.
18) Chris Evans - $18,000,000
Chris Evans has played the role of Steve Rogers / Captain America in many Marvel films, recently starring in Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War.
17) Jeremy Renner - $19,000,000
Jeremy Renner has played the role of Clint Barton / Hawkeye in many Marvel films, recently starring in Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War.
This year he has also starred in Wind River which premiered at Sundance Film Festival this month.
16) Matt Damon - $21,000,000
Known for playing Jason Bourne in the Bourne franchise of films, Matt Damon appeared in Jason Bourne and The Great Wall last year.
15) Ryan Reynolds - $21,500,000
Ryan Reynolds played the role of Wade Wilson / Deadpool in Deadpool last year and this year he stars in the summer blockbuster The Hitman's Bodyguard.
14) Ryan Gosling - $29,000,000
Ryan Gosling earns his best ever paycheck thanks to the success of La La Land.
13) Samuel L Jackson - $30,500,000
This year Samuel L. Jackson stars in The Hitman's Bodyguard, xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Kong: Skull Island.
12) Tom Hanks - $31,000,000
Last year Tom Hanks starred in many films including My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and A Hologram for the King. He has also been involved as a producer on many films.
11) Chris Hemsworth - $31,500,000
Chris Hemsworth is the biggest percent gainer this year with his earnings up 250% over last year's thanks to rising fees for Marvel movies.
10) Akshay Kumar - $35,500,000
Akshay Kumar has starred in over a hundred Hindi films and has won several awards including the National Film Award.
9) Salman Khan - $37,000,000
Salman Khan is an Indian actor who has had a career spanning more than 25 years.
8) Shah Rukh Khan - $38,000,000
Also known as SRK, Shah Rukh Khan is an Indian actor often referred to as the King of Bollywood, or King Khan.
7) Tom Cruise - $43,000,000
This year's films starring Tom Cruise are The Mummy and American Made, last year he also saw success with Jack Reacher: Never Go Back which he produced as well as starred in.
6) Robert Downey Jr - $48,000,000
Another actor who has seen a lot of success in Marvel films, Robert Downey Jr. known for playing the part of Tony Stark / Iron Man, he recently he appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
5) Jackie Chan - $49,000,000
Hong Kong martial artist and actor Jackie Chan has had an amazing career spanning more than five decades. This year he has voiced characters in The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature and The Lego Ninjago Movie.
4) Adam Sandler - $50,500,000
Actor and comedian Adam Sandler has recently provided the voice for Count Dracula in Puppy! a short film based on Hotel Transylvania. He is also due to star in the 2018 film Hotel Transylvania 3 as a voice actor, producer and writer.
3) Vin Diesel - $54,500,000
Probably best known as Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious films, Vin Diesel played the character in The Fate of the Furious this year as well as Xander Cage in xXx: Return of Xander Cage and** providing the voice and motion capture for Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.**
2) Dwayne Johnson - $65,000,000
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson banked $0.5 million more than 2016's total, but was elbowed out to number two this year.
1) Mark Wahlberg - $68,000,000
Mark Wahlberg scored his biggest payday to date thanks to soaring fees for movies such as Daddy's Home 2 and Transformers: The Last Knight.
