Former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston and her husband Justin Theroux have announced their marriage is over after two years.

Jennifer revealed the shock news via a statement sent out by the pair. It read, "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another."

After Jennifer and Justin's shock announcement, fans of the Horrible Bosses actress were quick to send their support on social media.

Taking to Twitter, many admitted they felt 'heartbroken' for the 49-year-old.

Although some were quick to point out the flaws in that plan...

After finding fame on hit comedy show Friends, Jennifer went on to become one of the biggest stars in the acting word, staring in films such as Just Go With It, Along Came Polly and We're The Millers.

Meanwhile, Justin has stared in a number of films such as Wanderlust, and most recently The Girl On The Train.
