Millie Mackintosh breaks silence on engagement to Hugo Taylor
They announced their engagement last month
Former Made In Chelsea stars Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor shocked their fans last month when it was revealed Hugo had popped the question to Millie during a holiday in Greece, and now Millie has finally broken her silence on the matter.
Appearing on today's episode of Lorraine with stand in host Christine Lampard, Millie told viewers the proposal came as a shock to her when she said, "It was, it was. I’m very very happy.”
The 28-year-old also gushed about her romance to Hugo when she admitted 'He's a keeper', but the former reality star seemed shy in showing off her diamond ring.
Speaking to Christine, she originally said, 'I'm hiding it", before the presenter told her not to.
Rumours about Millie and Hugo's romance first emerged last month when Millie was spotted in Mykonos wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
The couple's representative then confirmed the news by saying, "I can confirm that Hugo and Millie did get engaged while they were on holiday in Greece.”
The pair first met on reality TV show Made In Chelsea in 2011 and rekindled their romance last year, after Millie’s split from musician Professor Green.
Millie and Pro Green, real name Stephen Manderson married in 2013 and divorced in 2016. Millie and Hugo began dating again just weeks after her divorce from Pro Green was finalised.
Despite Millie opening up about her romance on today's Lorraine, she was actually on the show to present the fashion segment, but viewers weren't too impressed at her presenting skills...
