It's potentially the most dangerous show on the television and now The Jump has lost its first celebrity due to injury... and the show hasn't even started!

Model Vogue Williams has been forced to pull out of the show after injuring her knee during a ski cross training session.

A spokesperson for the Channel 4 show said, “Vogue fell during training for ski cross yesterday injuring her knee which sadly means she can no longer continue in the competition.”

Vogue also confirmed the news on her Twitter account by admitting she is 'really disappointed' to have to leave, but revealed she'll be back next year to 'win it'.

Vogue will be replaced on the show by stand in contestant Amy Willerton. The model is best known for her appearance on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here back in 2015, where she enjoyed a short romance with former TOWIE star Joey Essex.

Speaking about her shock involvement in the show, Amy said, "This experience has gone from being an exciting over extended ski holiday to suddenly overnight throwing myself into competition mode. But I'm so ready for that challenge! I hope I can do Vogue proud."

Other celebrities lined up for the new series include Olympians Sir Bradley Wiggins and Louis Smith, reality stars Lydia Bright and Spencer Matthews, and comedian Mark Dolan.

The show is no stranger to serious injuries. Since its debut in 2014, the show has racked up a huge injury list including Sir Steve Redgrave, Melinda Messenger, Ola Jordan and Rebecca Adlington.

See details of their injuries below:

Sir Steve Redgrave

The Olympic hero was forced to pull out of the 2014 final after being plagued by injuries in training, including breaking a bone in his hand.

Melinda Messenger

The presenter knocked herself unconscious whilst practicing for a bobsleigh event and was advised to drop out after suffering with concussion.

Ola Jordan

Ola Jordan had to pull out of the second series after suffering severe ligament damage, the dancer claimed that at one point she feared she would never walk again.

Rebecca Adlington

Former Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington dislocated her shoulder after an awkward landing during a ski jump practice session last year.

Let's hope Vogue's injury is the last of the new series!

Hosted by Davina McCall, The Jump kicks off on Channel 4 on Sunday 5th February.
