Blondie's Chris Stein pulls out of upcoming tour due to health condition
He is 'sad and frustrated' to be missing the tour

70s rock band Blondie is set to go on tour across the UK in April and May this year, however, the band's longtime guitarist and co-founder Chris Stein has sadly announced that he won't be able to join them on tour due to a heart condition.
He took to Twitter to share the disappointing news and explained that he was suffering from a condition called Atrial Fibrillation which left him too fatigued to tour.
He also wrote: 'Yes, (murmur of the heart) this is indeed frustrating cause my brain is working great but my body's not up to the task of touring now 🤯 I'm fine though and I'll see you around regardless'.
The musician later posted on Instagram to say: 'I'm sorry I'm not gonna make the next round of Blondie shows. I hate to disappoint supporters and the band but there it is, I've got this stupid heart murmur thing which is tiring as hell.
'You might remember I was sitting down during the last tours, that was why. My brain is doing great and I've been writing during covid. The memoir has a deal in place in the UK and US pending. I ♥️ you all'.
Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols will be joining the band to play the bass on the tour, but it is unclear who will be replacing Chris on guitar.
Blondie's UK tour was originally planned for November 2021 but it has been rescheduled due to Covid-19. The group will be supported by former The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr on their upcoming 'Against The Odds' tour.

Speaking about the tour, Elton commented that: "It's the last time I will be touring and travelling the world… and I can't wait to see you all one last time. I want to go out with a bang and say thank you and leave people thinking, 'God I saw the last tour and it was fantastic'".
The Who - UK tour 2023
The Who's Pete Townshend has confirmed that The Who are still planning to tour the UK - however we will have to wait until in 2023! The band will be returning with rescheduled dates from their previously cancelled tour (which was halted due to restrictions put in place from the global pandemic).
Peter Gabriel 'i/o - The Tour'
Peter Gabriel will be bringing his 'i/o - The Tour' to the UK in June 2023. He will be performing in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.
