Boy George & Culture Club have been announced as the very special guests on Rod Stewart’s summer 2023 UK tour.

Music legend Rod Stewart plays a septet of outdoor concerts this June and July taking in football, cricket and rugby stadiums, estates and castles.

The tour opens at Plymouth's Home Park Stadium on Saturday 24th June and visits Northampton, Durham, Bristol and Hull before culminating with two nights at Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th July.

Rod Stewart says of his special guests Boy George & Culture Club: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be sharing the stage with my dear old friend, Boy George & Culture Club for this run of special summer shows.

“I’m excited for them to join me on what is sure to be a memorable set of concerts at a variety of special venues – some that I’ve been away from for a long time and some that I’ve never played before – football, cricket and rugby stadiums, estates and castles! We’ll all be dancing under the stars. I can’t wait to see you out there!”

Boy George enthuses: “I'm a massive Rod Stewart fan. I have been since I was a teenager. I love his voice and he's always been very charming to me.

“In 1974 when I was 13 years old I bunked in for free to see Rod Stewart and The Faces at Lewisham Odeon, so I love that I am now able to support him on tour.”
