Rock and roll legend Chuck Berry left his mark on the music world and influenced musicians like The Beatles, The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. Even after his death in 2017, he is still a highly influential figure in music.

To honour his 95th birthday, which would have been on 18th October 2021, Dualtone records announced the release of a posthumous live album 'Live From Blueberry Hill'.

The album gets its name from the location of the diner and music club in Chuck's home town St. Louis in Missouri, where the musician used to play gigs. The decision to play at this small venue came later in his career, when he wanted to go back to performing as he had done when he was first starting out. The music legend went on to play 209 gigs at the Blueberry Hill venue over the course of 17 years, alongside a selection of musicians who became known as the Blueberry Hill band.

The album will be made up of Chuck Berry performances at Blueberry Hill between 2005 and 2006. The location is particularly special to fans as it is where the guitarist's last performance took place in October 2014 when he was 87-years-old.

The 'Live From Blueberry Hill' album is due to come out on 17th December 2021 and will be available on vinyl, CD and for digital download. It also features the rock and roller's daughter Ingrid playing the harmonica and his son Charles playing the guitar.

Along with the announcement of the album, the song 'Carol/Little Queenie' has been released ahead of the full album coming out in December.
