Earlier this year, Duran Duran fans were excited to hear that the band had been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, under the Performer category.

After the band were officially confirmed to join the prestigious list of inductees, which this year included Lionel Richie, and Eurythmics, five months later, the band have been officially inducted at a ceremony on Los Angeles on 5th November.

Unfortunately former band member Andy Taylor was unable to join the rest of the band at the prestigious ceremony, where they a three-song medley of ‘Girls on Film’, ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’ and ‘Ordinary World.’

Ahead of the official induction, Duran Duran shared some photos of their signature panel and other parts of the exhibit.

Taking to social media, Duran Duran wrote in late October: 'The 2022 inductee signature panel is up at the @rockhall on Level 3, the Hall of Fame floor! It's open to the public during Rock Hall hours, just need to pay admission to get in. Thank you to @anniezaleski for the photo capture!'

The band tagged American journalist and author Annie Zaleski, who has previously written a book about the band's 1982 album 'Rio', as part of the 33⅓ series. The 33⅓ books are about a single music album, and other books have included From Elvis in Memphis (Elvis), and Parallel Lines (Blondie).

The band, who have been together for more than 40 years also revealed in a panel interview, at the International Music Summit, that the secret to staying together was: "Friendship primarily."

John Taylor went on to say: "We've got this incredible brand partnership, this thing that keeps going. But I think it's our friendship really, and you know, friendships over time really have to take on a lot of different shapes... A lot of respect.

Roger Taylor then added: "It's almost like a brotherhood."

The band have also announced a concert film, called A Hollywood High, Duran Duran Live in Concert, which is a celebration of their recent achievements and will hit cinemas in November.
