New mini series released as 30th anniversary of Freddie Mercury tribute concert nears

Rewind nearly 30 years, and on 20th April 1992, following the death of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, the remaining members and other artists held a tribute concert to remember the singer.
Now, as the anniversary of the event nears, a new mini series has been released on YouTube. The mini series features clips from the tribute concert, which brought together the likes of pop and rock icons such as Sir Elton John, George Michael, David Bowie, Guns 'n' Roses, Dep Leppard and more.
In the latest episode, Paul Young is interviewed about his choice of song at the concert. The 'Everytime You Go Away' singer chose 'Radio Gaga' and said it was "fantastic to do live". He went on to explain that in rehearsals it was a challenge to sing in the key that Freddie had sung it in.
Other episodes of the mini series include lead singer of Def Leppard, Joe Elliott, speaking about his involvement in the gig. He told how he agreed to the show without discussing it with the other members of the band, or knowing who else was going to take part.
The announcement of this new mini series was shared on social media at the beginning of the month and since then, in the run up to the 30th anniversary, five videos have been released on YouTube, including three parts to their A - Z of The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.

Freddie Mercury's early years
Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara in Stone Town in the British protectorate of Zanzibar on 5th September 1946. Here's Freddie as a baby. His parents, Bomi (1908–2003) and Jer Bulsara (1922–2016) were from western India.
