Whitney Houston hologram tour set to come to the UK in 2020
Her original band will be touring as well

A Whitney Houston hologram tour is set to come to the UK in 2020, according the company behind several popular hologram tours. BASE Hologram confirmed the news on Twitter recently with a photo of the iconic singer, saying, '"We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will." - #WhitneyHouston ❤️ An Evening with Whitney: The Hologram Tour coming soon.'
Speaking to Music Week about the tour, marketing boss Seth Faber of Primary Wave said, "It will be an incredible show. So much effort has gone into making the show as authentic as possible. It’s going to be a phenomenal experience."
Primary Wave Music Publishing acquired a stake in Whitney Houston's publishing, master recording income, name, likeness and brand.
Meanwhile, Whitney's former manager and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, who is the sole executor of Houston’s estate said she was excited about the partnership with Primary Wave, "We are more than elated to partner with an organisation whose momentum in the marketplace is extraordinarily well-respected by industry leaders worldwide," Pat explained.
"With Primary Wave's global appeal and wealth of contacts, the partnership will advance the artistry and integrity of Whitney's legacy to a stratosphere that she herself left us all to enjoy for a lifetime."
Although UK dates for the tour have not yet been confirmed, the New York Times has reported that Whitney's original band will join the tour, along with the pop star's brother Gary and his wife Pat.
This news comes not long after dance DJ Kygo, released a version of Whitney's 1990 single 'Higher Love', with Kygo's version reaching Number 2 in the UK this year.
Whitney Houston sadly passed away on 11th February 2012 at the age of 48.
