A number of retailers have announced they will once again welcome shoppers back through their doors on Monday 12th April after being closed for more than 3-months.

It comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed on Easter Monday that the next step of the roadmap to ease lockdown would go ahead.

From Monday 12th April, restrictions will be lifted to allow non-essential shops to reopen their doors and pub and restaurants to serve customers outdoors.

But which stores have said they will reopen next week?

John Lewis

John Lewis is set to reopen its 32 remaining stores in England after announcing the permanent closure of 8 stores last month.

Its stores in Glasgow and Edinburgh will open on 26th April and 14th May respectively.

Ikea

Ikea reopened its stores in Scotland on Easter Monday, with its stores in England and Wales set to follow suit on 12th April.

However, the famous Ikea restaurants will remain closed until 17th May in keeping with the Government's roadmap for easing restrictions.

Primark

From next week, Primark will offer extended opening hours in many stores in England and Wales to allow customers to shop safely.

Poundland

Deemed an essential shop, the majority of Poundland's stores have stayed open throughout lockdown.

However, 55 shops which were temporarily closed will reopen next week.
