We've been told it must be part of an organisation's resilience

Businesses in Bucks are being warned that they should prepare for another coronavirus lockdown.

It's according to the group Buckinghamshire Businesses First, who described it as an inevitability.

The Government announced yesterday that people with Covid-19 in Bucks, Beds and Herts will need to isolate for 5 days instead of 7 from next week.

Buckinghamshire Businesses First told Greatest Hits Radio the change is "a blessing and a curse," with managing director Philippa Batting adding: "A blessing that those isolating only need to isolate for five days and can come back into the workforce, and so disruption is reduced.

"But a curse if coming back into the workforce, Covid spreads more quickly or disrupts the workforce even further.

"The challenge is that many felt that Covid was moving away and that maybe it wasn't necessary anymore. I think it has to be part of an organisation's resilience now, going forward."
