Man charged with kidnap after incident in Hemel Hempstead
He is set to appear at remand court later today (7 May)
A man has been charged with kidnap following an incident in Hemel Hempstead.
Police were called at around 7.40am on Tuesday (4 May) to reports of a possible kidnap in the town.
At just before 8am officers safely found and stopped a vehicle containing a man and woman, who were known to each other, on Breakspear Way.
Corneliu Bratosin, aged 54, of Rowan Avenue in High Wycombe, was arrested and subsequently charged with kidnap, assault, threats to kill and stalking.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at remand court later today (Friday 7 May).
