Newport Pagnell lose to Ascot United in FA Vase final Wembley clash

The Swans were defending their title from last year's season

Newport Pagnell FC has lost the FA Vase following their final match against Ascot United.

The final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (May 21st) was the end to the competition, which began all the way back in August last year.

Both Newport Pagnell and Ascot United made their way to the final after defeating Corsham Town and Congleton Town on penalties.

Now, Ascot United has come out on top after a tightly-fought match, which ended in 1-0. As a result, the winning team won £30,000 whilst losing Newport Pagnell received £15,000 for reaching the final.
