Person taken to hospital after altercation in Hertfordshire

Police are appealing for witnesses and information

A person has been taken to hospital, after an altercation in Hoddesdon.

Several people were involved in an altercation in Dinant Link Road on Saturday (29 May) at around 1pm.

It was reported that one of the involved parties was then struck by a vehicle, which made off from the scene.

One person suffered injuries and went to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Claire Sprent, who is investigating, said:

"This incident happened in broad daylight, in a very busy road – we believe that several people would have witnessed the incident taking place.

"If you did, and have not yet spoken to police, please do get in contact as a matter of urgency.

"If you were driving in the area around the time specified and have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle, I would ask you to please review your footage and send through anything that may assist with our investigation."
