Multiple arrests in Surrey and Berkshire over county lines drug dealing

It is in connection with an investigation into an Organised Crime Group

Police have carried out warrants and arrests in Berkshire and Surrey as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing.

A large scale operation took place this morning at 11 addresses in Ascot, Egham and Virginia Water.

It is in connection with an investigation into an Organised Crime Group involved in county lines crime and who live in the three areas.

The warrants have been carried out under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, at multiple addresses.

Detective Inspector Alexandra Horne, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “A large scale operation has taken place this morning in order to effectively execute a number of warrants and arrests at 11 addresses.

"This is in connection to the investigation of an Organised Crime Group who have been involved in County Drug Line criminality and who live in the Ascot, Egham and Virginia Water areas.

“I would also like to remind members of the public that if you have any information or suspicions about drug crime, please always make a report to Thames Valley Police online or by calling 101.
