Man, 23, accused of exposing himself ‘in a sexual manner’ in Galashiels appears in court
A 23-year-old man accused of "intentionally exposing his genitals in a sexual manner" to a female in the centre of Galashiels has appeared in court.
Amal Raziq is also alleged to have assaulted a second female nearby on the same date, by sitting on her and seizing her by the body.
Both incidents are alleged to have taken place in the town's Bank Street on September 6th this year.
Raziq, who gave an address at Church Square, Galashiels, denied both charges at Selkirk Sheriff Court today (Monday).
And his case was continued to trial in the new year, with a preliminary hearing set for December 11th this year.
