Man, 42, attacked in Peebles town centre
A 42-year-old man's been assaulted in Peebles town centre.
It happened near a bus stop in the Eastgate, around 6.15pm on Tuesday evening.
Police are appealing for information.
A spokesperson said: "We believe a number of people were in the area at the time and ask anyone who can assist officers with their enquiries to get in touch.
"Please call 101, quoting incident number 1239 of January 24th, 2024."
It's understood the man did not require medical treatment.
