Police incident on Tamar Bridge
A man has fallen from the bridge in Plymouth
Devon and Cornwall Police have been dealing with an incident on the Tama Bridge in Plymouth.
Officers were notified at around 10.45am today (Saturday 5 November) to reports of a concern of welfare of a man on the bridge.
Emergency services attended the scene and road closures were put in place.
Further reports state that the man had fallen from the bridge and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police say the death is not believed to be suspicious and the man’s next of kin have been informed.
