Road closure after Peak District lorry fire
It happened on the A623 near Tideswell
Police are warning of delays after a lorry fire on a main road through the Derbyshire Dales.
The A623 is shut close to Tideswell following the incident at the junction with Manchester Road. Closures were put into place from the Whitecross Road junction and Pittlemere Lane, following the blaze this morning - and local diversions in place.
Nobody was hurt in the fire and recovery is being arranged.
Traffic is heavily congested as a result in Tideswell itself and from the road bends near to Peak Forest.
