A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Crediton.
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that the body of a man was located on Kingsand beach, Torpoint, on Friday 23 December.
They issued an update today (Monday 10 January): "His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"Formal identification has taken place.
"The family of John Harrison, 52, from Crediton, who was reported missing on Sunday 17 October, have been made aware."
