A car fire on Newton Road is causing delays on the A381 both ways.
The vehicle can be found between Cockhaven Road and Forder Lane in Bishopsteignton.
Devon and Somerset fire services are at the scene trying to extinguish the fire.
Services believe the cause of the fire to be accidental.
It is affecting the traffic between Kingsteignton and Teignmouth.
