Three fire crews called to blaze at school in Totnes

An outdoor classroom was left severely damaged yesterday evening

Three Devon & Somerset fire crews were called to a blaze at a school in Totnes yesterday evening.

When firefighters arrived at 6:49pm a stand alone wooden building, used as a classroom by King Edward VI Community College, was alight.

It was severley damaged and started to show signs of collapse.

Crews dealt with the hotspots and made the area safe.

An investigation into what caused the fire is now underway.
