Three fire crews called to blaze at apartment in Tiverton
It happened in the early hours of this morning
Three fire crews were called to a blaze at flat in Tiverton in the early hours of this morning.
A ground floor apartment was smoke logged when firefighters arrived at 2am.
Two crews came from from Tiverton and one from Cullompton, alongside an officer.
They got to work extinguishing the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 safety jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and small tools.
At 02:39 the fire had been distinguished and crews started ventilating the property.
All occupants were also accounted for but one person suffered light smoke inhalation and was treated by the ambulance service.
The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
