A shop worker in Bournemouth's been treated in hospital after being punched and spat at in a row over payment.

Police are investigating after the woman was hurt by a customer at Main News in Commercial Road at around 3.20pm on Sunday 11th February.

The victim suffered facial and shoulder injuries.

A CCTV image has now released of a man police want to trace.

PC Megan Vivian, of Dorset Police, said:

“We take reports of violence towards retail staff very seriously and we are conducting a full investigation into this incident.

“We have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
