Beverley based, national recruitment firm ‘Sental Recruitment’ has celebrated its fifth year in business by raising an impressive £5,000 for local children’s charity ‘Cash for Kids’.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The funds were raised through the firm’s corporate quiz night at the KCOM Stadium on Friday 22nd April which saw 100 business professionals come together to compete for the quiz master title.

Hosted by Viking FM’s Home Run Presenter Darren Spence, the quiz was a huge success managing to reach Sental’s fundraising goal of £5,000 to mark its five years in operation.

Donna Edgar, Managing Director of Sental Recruitment, said:

“We held our first charity quiz night in 2014 and it provide incredibly popular and I am really pleased that this year was a sell-out event again. Having reached our five year anniversary, we wanted to celebrate with our clients whilst raising money for a very worthwhile cause. We would like to thank all our clients and candidates for their amazing support over the last five years – we wouldn’t be where we are today without you.”

The event was part-funded by local communications provider KCOM and received match funding from Barclays. Alan Worthing, Director of Business at KCOM, said: “The team from Sental put together an entertaining evening with plenty of friendly rivalry and we were delighted to take part. Congratulations to Sental on their fifth anniversary in business and for marking it in such a community-minded way.”

Charlotte Pickering, Charity Manager of Viking FM’s Cash for Kids, said:

“The support from Sental Recruitment and funds raised from the quiz night will enable us to fund even more projects and react to the emergency need of local families.
