How about an absinthe calendar this year?
Advent calendars have long been a traditional way of counting down to Christmas, but there are a few out there which are even more weird and wonderful than you could imagine.
1. Advent Calendar Jumper with pockets
We're a bit confused by this. Do you hang the jumper up, like a normal advent calendar?
Or do you wear your jumper, ready-packed with gifts and loaded with two risks: all the chocolate melting against your body heat, AND all the gifts falling out when you take the jumper on and off?

The World Record for the largest advent calendar currently goes to St Pancras Station, which unveiled its 71m high and 23m wide calendar in 2007!
The one pictured here is in Forchheim, Germany, where they turned their town hall windows into calendar doors at Christmas. Yikes.
