Five people arrested in Hull on drugs offences after police day of action
Police were targeting county lines drug dealing.

Five people have been arrested in Hull as part of a police day of action targeting county lines drug dealing.
Officers found a large quantity of class A drugs were found at three addresses in the city.
The three men and two women were arrested on suspicion of supplying of Class A drugs
A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of drugs and possession with intent to supply class A drugs on Sandale Close, Hull.
Two people, a 34-year-old man and 35-year-old women were arrested at a property on Weeton Way, Anlaby and a 50-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man at a property on Beverley Road were also arrested.
Detective Sergeant Matt Grantham said: “County Lines is a key priority for the force and our action against drug gangs remain ongoing.
“Work like this, alongside our partnering agencies allows us to protect those who may have become victims of criminal exploitation.
“Vulnerable people, often teenagers and sometimes children, are exploited into becoming involved in organised criminality, and communities can become overwhelmed with illicit substances and anti-social behaviour that often comes from drug use and dealing.
“The community impact this type offending has is the reason we will continue to do everything we can to disrupt these criminal networks removing them and the drugs they supply and distribute from our streets.
