Liam Gallagher has once again demanded an Oasis reunion and says that all proceeds from the show should go directly to the NHS as a thank you for their heroic work fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Even more prolific on social media since going into lockdown, Liam issued his urgent plea to his older sibling Noel Gallagher on Twitter yesterday afternoon (24th March).

Liam wrote: “Rite sick of pleading begging etc no more olive branches I DEMAND an Oasis reunion after this is all over all money going to NHS c’mon you know. As we were LG x”

When one Twitter user asked if Liam wants his brother back, Liam replied: “I miss him terribly I need his love.”

With many of his followers questioning whether he was being sarcastic, Liam responded: “Give a s--- what people think I’m crying I’m sad this has all brought it home how much I miss and need him for love.”

However, just an hour later Liam couldn't resist taking a swipe at Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, joking: “The only way this lockdown can get any worse is if the ice cream vans start booting round the streets blasting Rkid’s new tunes out.”

Last week, Liam Gallagher first suggested that once the coronavirus pandemic is “put to bed”, Oasis need to get back together for a charity gig.

Directly addressing Noel Gallagher, Liam continued: “C’mon Noel we can then go back to our amazing solo careers c’mon you know LG x.”

Over the weekend, Liam entertained his 3million followers by posting reworked versions of Oasis classics while washing his hands. Tunes included ‘Soapersonic’, ‘Wonderwash’ and ‘Soapanova’.

Behold the (sweary) rendition of ‘Wonderwash’ right here:
