Diana Ross announced as Glastonbury 2020 Legends act
The Queen of Motown will be playing the Pyramid Stage

Diana Ross, the Queen of Motown, has been announced as Glastonbury Festival's Legends performer for 2020. Diana, who has been in the music industry for a hugely impressive 60 years, first rose to fame as a member of The Supremes and won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
It's no surprise that Diana will be taking on the Legends slot - as the name suggests, that slot is always reserved for an established member of the music industry who is, obviously, considered to be a music legend.
Past performers of the Legends slot include Kylie Minogue in 2019, Dame Shirley Bassey in 2007, Dolly Parton in 2014 and Lionel Richie in 2015.
Tweeting about the announcement, Diana shared a video montage of her past performances through the years, and wrote, 'This is a dream come true. To all the fans across the world, this is my tribute to you. I'm coming to Glastonbury, with love. #Glastonbury2020.'
An official announcement from the festival read, 'We are delighted to announce that @DianaRoss will play the Sunday legends slot on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2020.'
Festival organiser Emily Eavis wrote, 'I am delighted to say that one of the all-time greats, the wonderful Diana Ross, is coming to Glastonbury to play the Sunday legend slot on the Pyramid next year.'
Fans of the singer and the festival were over the moon at the announcement, with many taking to Twitter to share their happiness. One wrote, 'This has made my day!' and another added, 'You’ve actually made my year just amazing, can’t wait. She is a true legend.'
