Elton John pledges $1 Million towards Australian bush fire relief fund
Elton pledged the donation and praised the firefighters.

Elton John has just announced he will donate $1 Million to the bush fire relief fund which is the equivalent of £522,700.
His announcement was met with a standing ovation at Qudos Bank Arena.
Elton John is currently performing in Sydney as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
“You should all be in awe of the work that the firefighters are doing.”
“There are people out there who have lost their lives trying to save homes, there are people who have lost their lives and their homes.”
"Therefore tonight I will be pledging $1 Million.”
Elton joins a growing list of celebrities who are pledging money to help Australia.
