Hollywood Vampires, consisting of rock icons Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry, along with Pirates of The Caribbean actor Johnny Depp, took to the stage recently to perform David Bowie's 'Heroes'. And Johnny, who sings and plays the guitar could be seen channeling his inner David Bowie.

The performance took place recently on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and was a huge hit with the audience and fans on YouTube, who have commented on the video saying how much they love it. Wearing a flatcap, shirt and suit jacket, Johnny took the lead on vocals as the other two musicians provided backing vocals and rhythm guitar.

One fan said, 'Super cool to see Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, and Joe Perry!!! Loved this rendition. The band sounds awesome!', with another saying,'I'm a little obsessed with this cover. I think Johnny Depp does such a good job with the vocals. It's great to see him enjoying so much success with the music which was his first love.'

The band performed David Bowie's hit 'Heroes' which was released in 1977, reaching Number 12 in the UK. Along with 'Heroes', David had plenty of other hits including, 'The Jean Genie', 'Space Oddity', and 'Let's Dance' and you can hear many of his hits on Greatest Hits Radio.

Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp, created Hollywood Vampires back in 2015 to honour the rock stars who have died. The name comes from a club formed by Alice in the 1970s which was frequented by members of The Beatles, The Who and The Monkees.
