A man has been charged with burglary and the theft of a car in Wookey back in February- after taking its keys.

24-year-old Anthony Rodriguez-Taylor from Sea Mills in Bristol has been remanded in custody ahead of his appearance in crown court next month.

He appeared at South Somerset Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 03 April after thieves gained entry to a house in Wookey, Somerset, in the early hours of 22 February.

It all happened while those inside the house were sleeping.

At the time, the burglars took car keys in order to steal a black Land Rover Discovery, registration KN68 XJM. The vehicle has not been recovered.

Rodriguez-Taylor was remanded in custody pending a further appearance at Taunton Crown Court on 07 May.
