Taunton Town has confirmed they won't be renewing Head of Football Rob Dray’s contract.

It's following a difficult season for the side and relegation from the National League South.

Dray first joined the club as a coach in 2016 and took over as manager in 2018 following the departure of Leigh Robinson.

In his role as head of football, Dray oversaw Taunton's promotion to the National League South in 2021.

In a statement, Taunton Town said: "The club would like to place on record its thanks for Rob’s efforts since his appointment in 2018, including the club’s promotion to the highest league standing in its history, and working through what has been an incredibly tough season on and off the pitch.

"The club would like to wish Rob and his management team every success in the future.

"The Board of Directors feel that now is the right time for a reset and new approach as the club embarks on life in the Southern League Premier."
