As the second lockdown is well underway, ITFC has recognised the impact it might have on its elderly fans.

To try to tackle and highlight loneliness the club is welcoming nominations for elderly fans, who live on their own, to become virtual mascots for free.

They'll be able to cheer Town on as they face Shrewsbury on 21st November, as well as receiving a video message and signed letter from a first-team player, and a Planet Blue gift.

It's not the first time the Blues have tried to look out for their elderly supporters, during the first lockdown the club's players and management called season ticket holders for a chat and to check in on them.

If there is someone you would like to nominate then send the nominee's name, age, address, living situation, how long they've supported the club and why they deserve recognition to dan.palfrey@itfc.co.uk.
