Pop sensation and noted Sausage Roll aficionado Ladbaby visited a foodbank in Waveney, along with Suffolk's Ed Sheeran as part of the former's campaign to support charity The Trussell Trust.

Their song, 'Sausage Rolls for Everyone', which also features Sir Elton John, is out now. All profits from the track will go to the trust and help foodbanks all around the country. They are hoping to propel the track to Christmas number one, which if achieved would put Ladbaby up with The Beatles as the only artists to score four Christmas number one's.

Ladbaby, his wife 'LadbabyMum' Roxanne Hoyle and Mr Sheeran visited the foodbank yesterday. Matthew Scade, project manager at Waveney Foodbank says it was a surreal experience.

"They were absolutely fantastic, They were very friendly, really nice people. We had a good chat and they were quite interested in what we do.

"After having a look around, they packed some boxes and Christmas hampers. So yeah, it was just really good."

Mr Scade hopes that their visit will help encourage people who are struggling with food poverty to reach out for support.

"There will be thousands of families sitting there today, worrying how they're actually going to put food on the table. They're not worried about how many Christmas guests they're gonna get there, just worried about how they are going to feed themselves and their children.

"Ed and Ladbaby's visit is beneficial to us because it's getting our name out there. Not only to people who donate to us, but those that need the foodbank. They know that we're there to help. We're a phone call away or an email away.

"Food poverty is a simple choice. If you're having to decide to pay between food or paying a bill then you're in food poverty. Please call us. We really want to help you and hopefully we can sort something out for you as quick as we can."
