Storm Arwen is expected to hit most of Suffolk from midnight (27 November), which could cause travel disruption and damage to buildings.

The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning, which will be in place until 6pm on Saturday evening, with gusts of between 55-65mph likely, the strongest being by the coast.

We're being told travel could be disrupted and power cuts are possible, with chance of large waves along the coast.

Highways East are gritting roads for snow expected as far west as Cambridge, as a separate yellow weather warning for snow comes into effect, also from midnight Saturday (November 27).
