A driver has been taken to hospital after a serious crash on the M25 near Limpsfield this morning (4 April).

Surrey Police say they were called at around 6.55am after a Vauxhall Astra left the carriageway between Junction 6 and Junction 5 and travelled down the embankment before coming to a stop on Water Lane.

There is currently a full closure of all four lanes of the M25 anticlockwise between J6 and J5. Water Lane is also closed northbound after the junction with Park Road.

The stretch of motorway is expected to remain closed for several hours.
